Cold air continues to funnel into our area, pushing further to the south and east. We've received reports of freezing rain in Siloam Springs and slick bridges in Sulphur Springs. Temperatures throughout Benton County have fallen below 32 F. Due to the shallow depth of the cold air that's working in , the predominant wintry type of precipitation will likely continue to be freezing rain, making for hazardous traveling. Temperatures throughout Benton, Northern Carroll, Northern Washington, Delaware, Cherokee, Adair, Muskogee, and Northern Sequoyah Counties look to remain below freezing through the mid-morning hours, keeping the threat of slick roads and bridges through the Monday AM commute. Be sure to to tune in to 40/29 News at Sunrise for any travel concerns.
