WINTRY WEATHER MON. AM (NE OK)

Yet another sounding...
This one is for early afternoon Monday in Grove, OK (KGMJ). Note how the temperature at the surface is ever so close to freezing. This is a wedge of shallow cold air that looks to set up close to the I-44 corridor. Because the depth of the below freezing layer will be shallow, freezing rain and possibly sleet would be the result of such an outcome. The line of wintry precipitation looks to remain just our north and west through Monday, though Tuesday and Wednesday will have to be watched closely for am area-wide threat of wintry precipitation.
