STATIONARY BOUNDARY?

Some of the latest long range data has suggested that we could be wet right through Friday of the up-coming week, with a stagnant frontal boundary aligned with the jetstream. Such a scenario would provide a focus for successive waves to give us plenty of chances for showers and t-storms. Unfortunately, confidence in the long range forecast has been on low side. The bottom map is referred to as a "Spaghetti Plot". Note how the red lines are together pushing into the country and then they sort of go haywire. This is not good. Each line represents a forecasting model solution. A tight cluster represents consistency, which translates into confidence in the long range forecast, where as a bunch of "spaghetti", which is what we've got, translates into more of a "let's wait and see". For now... does anyone have a fork?
