WE ARE NOT ALONE!

The title of this weather blog might make you think I am going to be writing about aliens or UFOs. I am actually writing about our mild November weather and the mild weather over a large portion of the country. The jetstream (fast flowing, relatively narrow air currents found in the atmosphere at around 11 kilometers (36,000 ft) above the surface of the Earth) usually has more fluctuations this time of year. That means cold air, rain or snow depending on the area. Well, the jetstream has been located to the north over the past several days and that is keeping our temperatures from cooling down to seasonal averages. Look for changes in our weather pattern next week...the good news...no changes until after the weekend!
