A TASTE OF FALL

Cold air is starting to push into the Northern Plains. This is the first freeze of the season. Temperatures in Northern Montana will actually be below freezing on Thursday morning. It is not unusual to get a pocket of very cold air to push into the United States out of Canada in the month of September. Some refer to this as the "September Swing". We are heading into the start of a new season, with fall beginning on September 23rd, and sometimes we can get a little taste of what it will feel like in a few weeks. Some of this air is going to try and make its way towards our area, but we should only get a glancing blow from this cold air. Our temperatures look to rebound above average for next week.
