The frontal system that has caused flash flooding issues over the last 48 hours continues to move south. At 8:00 a.m. the front was positioned just south of I-40. You can see the placement of the front in the picture above. The front will create heavy flooding rainfall issues across SE OK and SW AR this morning. Several inches of rain are still possible south of the boundary, so please use caution where roads have become flooded.

Most of the River Valley and NW AR will enjoy a dry afternoon! Look for sunshine to help rebound temperatures into the 80s.
