Strong Storms

Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms have moved across many parts of our area today. Some of the storms were strong with one severe thunderstorm warning being issued for Sequoyah County earlier this afternoon. There was a report of a sign being blown down and damaging a vehicle in Sallisaw. The above picture shows a low hanging shelf cloud near Paris. While passing overhead the winds gusted to about 35mph.
Several flash flood warnings were issued as well and flash flooding will still be a concern through the rest of today and tonight with any additional rains that move through.
