What a wet and wild weekend across the area. Last night, heavy rain made its way south throughout the River Valley, and eventually moving into southeastern Oklahoma and southwest Arkansas. Look at the rainfall totals above!

To put these rains in perspective, we're talking about towns picking up their monthly rainfall totals in a matter of a few hours! When that type of rain occurs, flooding becomes a concern; however, after a very dry and hot August, the rains are very welcome across the area.

More wet weather is expected for Monday and Tuesday, and then we'll look at a break for Wednesday and Thursday. The GFS is staying consistent with bringing a very strong cold front throughout area on Friday, so stay tuned, a fall preview maybe coming up this week.
