More Severe Storms SE OK & SW AR

This morning's convection has allowed outflow boundaries to make their way south of I-40. These boundaries will provide a focus for showers and storms this Monday afternoon. CAPE values are already approaching 4,000 across SE OK and SW AR; moreover, there is no cap in place, so over the next couple of hours, we'll see scattered showers and storms develop.

Some storms will be strong to severe with large hail to the size of golf balls. The freezing layer is roughly 13,000 ft, with a wet bulb a little lower around 12,000 ft. This is a similar situation to yesterday, where large hail was reported. Flash flooding may also be a factor since the upper level winds are relatively light.
