Thursday Night Snow
A shortwave around 17,000 feet in the atmosphere is creating light to moderate snow this evening across sections of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Some of the heavier snow has been seen across Sequoyah county. The best chance for accumulating snow will occur along and south of I-40. An additional dusting to a half inch is possible. Please use caution tonight, especially where heavy snow is falling. Slick spots will be a problem this evening, especially on bridges and overpasses.
Most of the snow will taper off by 10 p.m. Cold temperatures in the single digits and teens will start our Friday morning!
