9:00 P.M. Update
A lot of weather happening this evening, so let's get right to it. We have training showers and storms moving over NE OK and NW AR; this is an area of concern due to temperatures at freezing in Benton and Delaware counties. Heavy rainfall within the storms could cause glazing on trees, powerlines, and other objects. Be esecially careful going over bridges and overpasses. State troopers in Oklahoma are reporting numerous bridges and overpasses in Delaware county becoming slick in spots.
The showers and stroms will pose three issues: small pea size hail, gusty winds to 40mph, and brief heavy rainfall. The severe thunderstorm watch is out until 2 a.m. across SE OK; however, I feel most of the severe weather will remain across northern Texas where the instability is greatest. More updates to come!
