Signs of the Fall Change.....

We've had a wonderful afternoon filled with sunshine and temperatures in the 70's and 80's, and it looks like Wednesday could be a repeat performance. I don't know about you, but it's starting to feel more like fall across Arkansas and Oklahoma, and even some of the foliage is starting to respond.
The latest report has some of the foliage across the Ozarks gradually changing. The dogwood, sweetgum, blackgum, and sumac plants are showing early color change.
The best recipe for color change can be found in the temperatures! When we start to see highs in the 70s, and overnight lows in the 40's, the trees start to respond. The predicted peak across the Ozarks is expected by late October and into early November.
