Humberto Sticking Around?

The low-level center of Humberto has lost much of it's strength, but the system is still producing large amounts of rain in the Southeast. Tropical Depression Humberto will be slowly forced southward as a cold front starts to push through the central United States. The upper level winds will continue to shift what's left of Humberto into the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend. With Gulf water temperatures well into the 80s, any circulation associated with Humberto could gradually strengthen and become another tropical storm or hurricane. This is something that will be monitored very closely in the 40/29 Super Doppler Weather Center.

Wouldn't that be interesting if TD Humberto grew into another tropical storm or more? I saw some early computer models which showed this storm doing a curl in central Texas, before he came ashore- Would it still be named Humberto?

Say, can you compose a blog soon on the local effects that a La Nina would cause this winter?

Thank you for your informative blogs, weathercasts, guys!
