THURSDAY THUNDERSTORMS...
A good chance for some thunderstorms later this afternoon and early evening. If we can get some sunshine for the morning and early afternoon, which it looks like we will, then thunderstorms should start to develop just before sunset. These storms will not be producing monumental rainfall totals, but they will have a lot of upper level energy. The type of severe weather to expect will be severe hail (greater than 3/4 inch in diameter) and strong wind gusts of over 60 mph. Thunderstorm activity will start to diminish as we move towards the midnight hour, but more strong storms will be a major possibility for Friday.
