A large ridge is building off to the west and will slowly make its way to the region Wednesday. What does this mean for us? How about a major warm up for the entire area. Temperatures will be well into the 70s in some areas for afternoon highs, almost 10° warmer than our Tuesday afternoon temperatures. A cold front arrives Thursday and gives us a slight chance for showers and storms, but this front doesn't look to be too strong. Therefore our temperatures will not be cooling off too much.
