6:00 PM update

A steady fetch of moisture from the SW is battling a strong High and dry air to the north making for a definitive cut off line of precipitation. With the track of this storm moving from the SW to the NE, Delaware county and NW AR will get a skimming of snow, with progressively less cover, off to the NW. Towns further to the South and East are cashing in on this one! All day, bright bands on radar, inferring heavy snow, have been highlighting our mountain ranges. In the picture above a few blips of yellow over SW AR and SE OK are showing up over the Ouichitas. Some spots in Southern Leflore, Scott, Logan, and Johnson counties have already picked up half a foot.
