Here is the 6-10 day outlook form the Climate Prediction Center. The dates that this forecast covers; January 15th - January 19th. Over our area we are expecting normal temperatures and normal precipitation totals for this time frame. The interesting data that I witness on the precipitation forecast are the below normal totals for a large portion of the country. Dry conditions are in the forecast from the western third of the nation, the Northern Plains, and the Great Lakes. Not only will the Northern Plains be below average for precipitation, but they will also be above average for temperatures.
