Thumbs Up... SATURDAY
It's almost as if Noel has vacuumed up all the moisture across much of the country; there just isn't a whole lot of it. A front will pass through our area over the next 12 to 16 hours, taking the clouds with it. Saturday afternoon will be primo! Expect a quick warm up through Sunday and then with a heftier cold-front slated for Monday, we'll jump back below average temperature-wise and stand a better chance of a freeze by the middle to end of next week. Most of the "fronts" that have grazed our area have been associated with fast moving Alberta clippers; storms that race across the southern Canada and bring small shots of colder air southward. We're getting close to the time though where we can see plunges of cold Canadian air spill into the northern and southern plains. Just remember, last Nov. 30th brought in a foot to a foot and half of snow to parts of NW AR and NE OK!
