Tuesday's Severe Weather Threat
We remain in a slight risk for severe weather for Tuesday as Patrick pointed out in his previous blog entry. The new model data continues to keep the greatest severe weather threat just north of our area across southern Kansas and Missouri.
Take a look at the picture above. The colors in red and yellow denote the strongest wind shear from 0 to 3KM. The greatest wind shear will slide just to our north. Eastern Kansas will be a place to watch; however, low level shear is pretty minimal, so the tornado threat as a whole will remain low.
We'll continue to watch out for large hail to the size of quarters, and gusty winds to 60 mph for Tuesday night.
