Strong thunderstorms moved throughout northeastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this evening dumping heavy rainfall in a short amount of time. In a matter of 45 minutes to an hour, many spots received between 1 and 2 inches of rainfall.

These storms moved slowly to the east around 30 mph. In addition to the flooding rain, some of the storms in western Washington county produced damaging winds. There was a report of trees being blown down near Lincoln, AR.
