Thursday Evening Update...
Most of the showers and storms this evening will stay below severe limits; however, there is a healthy line of showers and storms that continues to hold together across central Oklahoma.
These storms are on the backside of this upper level low moving across our viewing area. These storms are mainly small hail producers, and if they hold together, the River Valley may see some isolated strong to possibly severe storms after 9 p.m.
Storms may contain gusty winds to 50 mph, and hail to the size of dimes. The River Valley as a whole has been untouched this afternoon, so CAPE values are still running around 1000 with little or no cap.
We'll watch these cells closely.
